Working towards a common goal
Umeed
"Umeed" literally translates to "hope". CoHEER works to enlighten this goal in each and every individual under our Empowerment project. "Umeed" is a multi-centric and interdisciplinary project which encompasses almost every individual from all walks of life, without compromising on its core value of "Let there be light even in the darkest times". To achieve this we have the following prospective goals:
1. Our pilot project "Udaan" is primarily an educational initiative for children from the humble part of the society. It is basically an extra-class but more
interactive and lesser book based educational program where we learn from the child of his expectations and from our side, we try to fill the voids that are creating a road block in his way of holistic development.
2. In this age where women are standing at par with men, certain parts of the society are still lacking this equality due to various issues. We address this issues with our women centric project named "Shakti" through which we address various issues hindering women from achieving her goals and a happier life, through our open-minded and socially acceptable initiatives under this project.
3. Under the project "Chitra", we are focusing on the upcoming needs of art and photography which should should serve a more communicating and a broader base of digital marketing, so as to create a unique learning experience for our volunteers/interns while they reflecting our society in their own unique way.
